Stabilization is a good option for individuals with complex needs. This support helps establish physical, mental, spiritual and emotional stability in a safe setting. Some people come to stabilization prior to other treatment while others come when there is a risk of relapse or to re-establish healthy living after relapse. While in the Stabilization Program, participants attend group workshops and cultural teachings and are encouraged to establish healthy daily routines.

Stabilization is a short-stay social detox service of 7-14 days. Individuals may self refer or be referred by others but must not be under the influence of substances upon entry. If medical detox services are needed, individuals will be referred to a brief detox unit prior to attending stabilization.
